Shilpa Phadke
Shilpa Phadke is Head of Partnerships at Artha Global, a role in which she leads the organization’s efforts to build and harness collaborative, long-term alliances with states and institutions. At Artha, she previously steered a research and analytical study on the social protection landscape for urban informal workers in Mumbai.
Shilpa has worked with multilateral organisations including the World Bank and the United Nations on lending operations & policy formulation; monitoring, evaluation, results & learning; quantitative research & analysis, counterpart engagement and project design & implementation in the agriculture and allied sectors, rural livelihoods programmes, social protection and trade.
Shilpa holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree from UC Berkeley; a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Quantitative Development Economics from the University of Warwick, where she was a Chevening Scholar and a BA in Economics from Fergusson College, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). She speaks Marathi, Hindi, English and French.
