Mr. Pardeep Jindal is a Senior Advisor at Artha Global.

He is an Advisor and a seasoned power system planning and policy professional. He has over 36 years of experience in transmission planning, renewable energy integration, cross-border electricity trade, and regulatory design. He served with the Central Electricity Authority, Ministry of Power, for nearly four decades, where he contributed to major initiatives shaping India’s national and regional grid systems, including the National Electricity Plans, Transmission Planning Criteria, General Network Access framework, and policies on transmission charges, grid codes, and market development.

He played a key role in the planning and development of India’s synchronous national grid and in enabling large-scale renewable energy integration, including green energy corridors and ultra-mega solar parks. He also contributed to cross-border electricity interconnections and trade with neighbouring countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar, and represented India in bilateral and multilateral forums including SAARC, BIMSTEC, UN, EU, ADB, and World Bank-related platforms.

He also provides consultancy and advisory support to organizations working in policy advocacy, energy analytics, electricity markets, generation, transmission, and renewable energy.

Mr. Jindal is a Senior Member of IEEE. He holds an M.Tech. in CE&I from IIT Delhi and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from RECK/NIT-Kurukshetra
