CTIER has recently released its fourth flagship publication, “CTIER Handbook: Technology and Innovation in India 2025.” The Handbook examines India’s R&D and innovation ecosystem in depth, focusing on three core areas: India and the Global Economy, Regional Innovation Systems, and Industry in India. It combines comparative data analysis with thematic essays that engage with key policy questions affecting India’s innovation ecosystem and draws lessons from countries that have successfully leveraged R&D for sustained economic growth.
The session will facilitate a focused discussion on India’s R&D spending patterns (public and private), state-level innovation systems, and an analysis of the top 100 R&D spenders in the country, while opening up broader conversations on strengthening India’s innovation architecture.
