Ayush Patel

Former Associate

Ayush was an Associate at IDFC Institute. His role involved working on data, policy inputs and experimental and non-experimental research related to the Bihar Public Grievance Redressal Act.

Prior to joining IDFC Institute, he worked as a Consultant with the Tribal Development Department, Government of Maharashtra. His responsibilities included coordination with Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, execution and monitoring of projects under the central assistance program, research support to the office of Principal Secretary, Tribal Development Department, Government of Maharashtra and analysis related to the Forest Rights Act.

Previously, he has worked as a SPARC Fellow with Dr Heena Gavit, Member of Parliament for Nandurbar Lok Sabha Constituency. His work included research support to the office of Member of Parliament, identification of gaps in implementation of Central Government Schemes in the constituency and design and implementation of projects for enhancing productivity and income. His research interests lie in Economics, Public Policy and Law.

Ayush holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Economics and Finance from Meghnad Desai Academy.
