Lakshay Narang

Former Senior Associate

Lakshay Narang was a Senior Associate at Artha Global. Prior to this role, Lakshay worked as a Research Associate at Dvara Research, where his work focused on addressing customer protection concerns in digital financial services and concerns around citizens’ rights in social protection. Through his work, Lakshay emphasized the importance of building digital public infrastructure around the needs and preferences of the users, especially low-income and marginalised users. As a member of the Centre for Customer Protection at Dvara Research, Lakshay led a project aimed at assessing the effectiveness of awareness campaigns in reducing online fraud in UPI. He also dedicated extensive efforts to develop a technological and legal framework for a system-level solution to simplify fraud reporting, especially for low-income users. Lakshay has contributed articles detailing his projects and findings to several reputable news organizations, including The Hindu Business Line, The Print, and The Financial Express.

Lakshay completed his Master’s in Public Policy from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. Prior to this, Lakshay earned a Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University.
