Swapnil Bhandari

Former Assistant Director

Swapnil Bhandari is a Former Assistant Director of IDFC Institute.

Prior to joining IDFC, Swapnil worked with the Centre for Emerging Markets Solutions at the Indian School of Business. Her primary focus of research was low cost housing and urbanisation in the Indian context. She has co-authored a report  that investigates the potential for private sector engagement in affordable housing in peri-urban areas near industrial agglomerations in India. She has also conceptualised and drafted a detailed proposal for the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority’s Hyderabad Education Hub project.

Other work experience includes a marketing position with Frost & Sullivan. She has also volunteered with a NGO that works to empower lesser privileged children with access to information and opportunity.

Swapnil holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana.
