On Tuesday, 10 June 2025, Artha India, in partnership with Transport For London and TERI hosted a multi-agency workshop in Vijayawada to kickstart the phased implementation of Clean Air Zones (CAZ) in select neighbourhoods of Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada at the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board.
The discussion focussed on the final emission reduction measures, continuous air quality monitoring, stakeholder engagement strategies & a business case approach for improving urban air quality with key officials from Municipal Corporations, Police and Transport departments.
