IndiaAI’s mission-centric approach to ensure a cohesive strategy to bridge the gaps in the existing AI ecosystem viz-a-viz compute infrastructure, data, AI financing, research and innovation, targeted skilling, and institutional capacity for data to maximize the potential of AI to advance India’s progress. India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology  set up seven working groups to collectively brainstorm on the vision, objectives, outcomes, and design for each of IndiaAI pillars.

Sridhar co-authored chapter 3 of the IndiaAI 2023 expert report, which focused on the institutional capacity and design of the proposed National Data Management Office.
