Mayura Gadkari is a Principal at the Centre for Emerging Cities (ACES) at Artha Global, where she leads and oversees all the work under the Centre — spanning urban development, climate resilience, public health, and their intersections with AI and technology.

Before joining Artha Global, Mayura gained extensive experience at the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India, where she worked on diverse initiatives focused on strengthening urban governance and institutional capacity.
With over 15 years of professional experience, Mayura has worked with a wide range of stakeholders across governance levels in urban India. Her experience spans international non-profits, para-governmental organisations, and initiatives supported by multilateral and bilateral agencies.

As an accomplished urban development practitioner, she has contributed to multiple project teams, conducted research on diverse topics, and delivered talks at leading academic and research institutions, as well as at national and international seminars, roundtables, and conferences.

Mayura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Mumbai and a Master’s degree in Architecture from CEPT University, Ahmedabad.
