This study uses insights from citizen perception surveys about our proposed Clean Air Zone measures in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada to develop a recommended CAZ implementation plan.
The forthcoming phase of CAZ implementation will include area improvement projects that include optimising parking arrangements and novel nature-based solutions like permeable pavements and Miyawaki forests at junctions.
In support of these efforts, GVMC and Artha launched their collaboration through a series of comprehensive training workshops focused on the Cities and Public Health module.
Artha conducted a 2-day workshop at the MGSIPA campus in Chandigarh. The participants in this workshop were officials from the Urban Local Bodies of Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mandi Gobindgarh, Patiala, and Chandigarh.
